Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF): Runs small, buy two sizes up.I read the other 12 reviews and made the decision to buy two sizes (4T) up based on the reviews that didn't just say "cute," "great," or "perfect." I expected that if it was true to size, then she can wear it in about a year, otherwise it will end up fitting now. It fits now. // Daughter's metrics... She's a Pisces baby, currently stands at 33" tall, and weighs about 27lbs. Scrawny for her age but eats like a beast; I digress. // If a shirt is baggy, any parent can tell its too big, in this case, it was noticeably similar to another shirt we already own. I put the 4T shirt up against another shirt she wears (3T) and saw it ran almost exactly the same. // In my photos I lined the two shirts at the armpit corner seam, so it lines up properly. You can see the minimal difference between a 3T and 4T. It just runs "flowy" to match the way the sleeves are designed. // So, you if you are a parent reading this, with a child with about the same size and weight, I recommend buying two sizes up expecting to use it for only one season. It's great as a spring shirt, under a lite jacket, up till summer, or a fall shirt under multiple layers. Size aside, it's thin but the quality is great and incredibly soft. Think microfiber/jersey1bed-linen-soft. Hopes this helps other parents. Cheers.Very cute and soft. My 2yr old is big for age wearing 4t-5. I ordered and Xs to make sure it lasted through the summer.
